The Drew Hoschar Band is a group of like-minded musicians based in New York City. Featuring Drew Hoschar on drums and cymbals, Henry Berberi on alto saxophone, Jackson Hanks on vibraphone, Zander Knodt on piano, and Lorenzo Wolczko on bass. The band will perform original music composed by each member, as well as songs from rock and alternative music repertoire adapted for this band. Doors: 6:00pm Show: 7:00pm Tickets: $15 General Admission Drew Hoschar, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, is a percussionist and composer currently residing and pursuing studies in New York City. Under the guidance of esteemed members of the Northeast Ohio music scene, including drummers Mark Gonder and Anthony Taddeo, Hoschar has honed his craft and is now a student of Kendrick Scott at the Manhattan School of Music. In June 2024, Hoschar showcased his project "adhoc" at the Tri-C Jazzfest in Cleveland. This ensemble comprises fellow students from the Manhattan School of Music. On June 24th and 25th of the same year, the band recorded its debut LP, featuring original compositions. The record is anticipated to be released in the first half of 2025. While drawing from the jazz tradition, the band incorporates influences from alternative, rock, and free-improvised music genres.
